Anthony Chapman-Davies BOptom MOptom

Anthony Chapman-Davies has been a practising optometrist since 1979, when he graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry. He completed a Master of Optometry in 1981.

Anthony has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education since 1981 at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, University of NSW, where he is a visiting clinical supervisor, tutor and lecturer. He has lectured widely throughout Australia and internationally over the last 20 years.

Anthony is an active member of several optometric associations, including: Chairman and former Secretary of the Optometric Vision Research Foundation (Australia); member and former NSW AOA State Councillor of the Australia Optometric Association; State Treasurer and former National Vice-President of the Contact Lens Society; and editorial board member of the Optometrists Association of Australia journal, Clinical and Experimental Optometry.

In 1998, Anthony was honoured with the prestigious Josef Lederer Award for Excellence in Clinical Optometry by the Optometrists Association of Australia.
