Brien Holden Vision Institute strives to deliver vision excellence for all people. The Institute is dedicated to the advancement of vision correction research, education and industry, and has made major advances in eye health and vision correction technologies. The Public Health Division is focused on reversing the tragedy of unnecessary blindness and vision impairment caused by refractive error by helping to build sustainable eye care systems to provide access to affordable eye care for all.

The Institute values the highly skilled and dedicated team we work with, both at our head office in Sydney, Australia, and teams around the world. Full time position based in Guangzhou, China

Brien Holden Vision Institute (Public Health Division) is an Australian organisation working towards reducing avoidable blindness and vision impairment due to uncorrected refractive error.

We are seeking a Project Officer to coordinate and implement training activities, translate and review training materials and assist in delivering and organising training programs with quality results. Applicants must have degree in optometry, ophthalmology or related field.

Seeking lecturers for emergent schools of optometry

We are seeking optometrists with an interest in academia required for recently established optometry programs aimed at addressing the human resource needs of eyecare delivery in developing countries. The successful candidate will be required to assume the position for a minimum duration of one year and relocate within a reasonable time.
