The Institute and Foundation are helping build the global capacity of optometry to provide equity in eye care access for all people.

Education and Resources contains the Optometry Resources section, which provides access to download comprehensive teaching and learning resources for emerging optometry schools and other groups of eye care personnel. We have additional training materials in our Download Resources section and offer low-cost Spectacles & Equipment which can be ordered through our Global Resources Centre.

Ther Pactitioner Guides section contains a series of clinical guides and other useful resources for optometry practitioners. Contact lens wearers can download a step-by-step guide to ensuring safe contact lens use in our Learn About Your Eyes section, which also contains information about some of the most common Eye Conditions for the general public.

Our Postgraduate Research program provides opportunities for students to undertake PhD and Masters degrees in Australia and in countries such as China, India and South Africa through our associated organisations.
