Would your organisation benefit from an I See for Culture eye health educational resource kit?
If so, please register your interest now.
The I See for Culture kits were developed and produced by ICEE (renamed Brien Holden Vision Institute Foundation in 2012) in 2009 thanks to funding from the Commonwealth Government (Department of Health & Ageing) through an Eye Health Demonstration Grant.
The kits are now available to relevant organisations (e.g. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations, clinics, registered training organisations for health workers, etc).
To request a kit for your organisation, please complete the form below with your organisation's contact details (postal address, phone, fax).
We encourage you to spread the word to other contacts or colleagues working in the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander eye health sector, who could also benefit from an I See for Culture kit.
The project was instigated by Vision 2020 Australia, and the resources were developed via extensive consultation with Indigenous health bodies, Aborignal Community Controlled Health Services and eye care related organisations.
The complete kit contains the following components and can be obtained by contacting Amy Nicholls using the form below.
- Flip charts x 2
- Posters x 2
- Model eye
- Simulator masks (cataract and diabetic retinopathy)
- Information booklet
