Current eye research is reaching towards the challenging and rewarding goals involved in the development of new and improved ways of correcting vision and caring for eyes.
Postgraduate degrees are offered either as a full-time or part-time enrolment. PhD students are required to undertake a programme of research over a period of at least three years (six sessions) full-time study and four years (eight sessions) part-time and prepare a thesis. Most Masters research degrees require two years (four sessions) full-time study. All research programmes and some coursework programmes can be commenced from either first or second session in an academic year.
Fees for international students are approximately $29,500 per annum at the University of New South Wales. Additionally, an average living allowance of about $23,000 per annum would be necessary to undertake studies in Australia.
